A report from The ACEVO Commission on Youth Unemployment, chaired by David Milliband has been produced and is described as “a comprehensive analysis of the problem and a set of practical, achievable recommendations to tackle youth unemployment”.

Cornwall Youth Work Partnership (CYWP) is looking to appoint a full time Accreditation Development Manager.
The post is offered initially until the 31st March 2013, but will be extended dependent on the achievement of key outcomes and successful funding applications. The post is also offered as a potential secondment opportunity, provided candidates have written approval from an appropriate person in their employing organisation.
You will be responsible for building the capacity of CYWP’s voluntary sector members in delivering accreditation and qualification opportunities to young people who are NEET, or at risk of becoming NEET.
Candidates must be educated to degree level in Youth Work, Advice and Guidance or Adult Learning (or similar) and have proven experience of recent successful work in vocational education with young people aged 14-19, including NEETs.
The salary range on offer is £24,000 – £28,000 dependent on qualifications and experience.
