InVolve is funded through the Learning & Skills Council (LSC) and the European Union’s “Convergence” programme.

The aim of InVolve is to provide support, targeted at the capacity of Voluntary & Community Sector partners to contribute to the Convergence framework, with a specific focus on the provision of services to children, young people, and young workless adults.  To achieve this aim we are supporting:

  • capacity building initiatives;
  • the direct delivery of services to the target groups;
  • workforce development;
  • opportunities to engage in partnership activity;

Key Activities are to:

  • engage with 14-24 year olds who are currently not in education, employment, or training, or at risk;
  • create tailored learning programmes based on individual needs and our members’ specialisms;
  • enhance the learning & skills of project participants;
  • progress participants to further learning opportunities, volunteering placements, and employment opportunities;
  • enhance the infrastructure of the Cornwall Youth Work Partnership so it can enhance the support measures available to its member organisations;
  • offer training opportunities for member organisations and their staff, so we can prepare for the introduction of educational reforms, lifelong learning qualifications, and commissioning requiremennts.
